So, I was in Prague – part 1

I promised to put up a post about my trip to Prague, a week later. What a slow blogger I am. For the most part of the last Saturday (May 21st) I was nervous, not about the trip but the 10 min drive to the train station, only that is a whole another romance story that deserves to have a post of its own. So, I’ll just skip it, for now.
Anywho, our trip kicked off Saturday 9PM. We were supposed to arrive at Prague 9AM but, actually, arrived around 6AM. Let’s just say that our bus driver was battling with time, I suppose. When we got there we kinda had a tiny problem with finding our hostel but nothing a good map couldn’t solve. So after some time of walking up-hill we finally found out hostel (Hostel One). If you’re on a quest of finding a hostel in Prague, I totally recommend this one.
Our check in was at 3PM so we had A LOT OF TIME to kill since we arrived at 7AM there. We left our stuff in the hostel since they kindly offered us the option so we wouldn’t drag our bags with us. So, we hit the center, had a coffee at some expensive Irish Bar located at the main square. Yeah, we never went there again. Way too expensive. But I liked the name of the English Pub right next to – George & Dragon. How cool is that?
We couldn’t wait to get into the rooms to take a shower and a bit of rest even though we did opened a few beers (that is the only cheap thing, there) that night. Oh, and one more thing, if you are ever in Prague PLEASE be careful while exchanging your money (since they still have Czech Koruna as a currency there even though they are in EU). Couple of my friends ended up loosing their money because they exchanged it at small rates. So, be careful and watch closely what the currency rates are and for what they apply (small letters no one cares to read – YOU SHOULD!)

Ah memories. The George & Dragon cost me the better part of my holiday money because my friend and I drank so much in there. Was fun though. And the square really is beautiful at night.
