SAYING GOODBYE IN BLACK & WHITE

I’ve always thought I was a photography in color type of person. 95% of the photos of mine are in color. Ok, yes, I do love color. And yes, I’ve metioned the word color 3 times already. No, better make it 4. Hehe. But, black & white photos always give that sort of higher level of art. They are mysterious, quiet but impressive.
So, with that in mind, I decided to convert some of the photos from last summer to black and white. Just looking at those photos in b/w I feel nostalgic over the sights. Who knows when I’m gonna see those scenes again. This summer? No. I am leaving a part of me, there. That was my home away from home where I cried and smiled. Memories are for ever. Every end is a new beginning. So yes, I am saying goodbye to my life there but also saying bon jour to something new. Maybe even this summer. Excited to see what this few months ahead have to offer. Let us see what summer at home feels like. Just thinking about it, I feel grateful for every day spent in Pirovac and I know some people have never had the chance to do the same. By that I mean spending summer at the seaside in general. But, I love life and I love future. It looks summery and promising. God bless!

I agree completely with you on the mysteriousness (and added level of nostalgia!) of B&W photos. These are beautiful! :)
