Last week I got back from my 10 day summer vacation. Our base was a Dalmatian coastal town of Rogoznica but before I post and write about it, I thought I would do that for Primosten, instead. Now, that little picturesque town impressed me the most. It is small enough for a comfortable living and beautiful enough to make you never leave it. Even though the entire town has its special charm, I found shooting this little flags that go all around the main square the most. I just think they are adorable and go really well with the old stone houses as a background.
The thing I love the most about this town that you can walk around it in 20 minutes. Literally, walk around it as you follow the little path/road that makes a certain ring around the city old center. On that route, as it is the case with all Dalmatian coastal towns, you can see lots of fisherman boats, bistros, old windows and stone houses, rocky beaches and lots of olive trees and oleanders.
If you ever get the chance to visit Primosten, I would highly suggest that you do. Now when I look at my photos, they really don’t do much justice to the beauty of the place. I haven’t really shot much. I mean, I have. But, my usual insecurity with my own work just keeps me from being fully satisfied with everything. I guess I always aim for more and sometimes I hit plateau. But, enough about my own self-conscious stuff.
Dalmatia. Yes. Do visit it. I know I always say I fall in love with my country all over again the very minute I start exploring it but really – you won’t be disappointed if you do decide to visit it. God bless and good night. More places and photos to come. Shouldn’t be such a slacker, man. It is summer and I am supposed to have a lot of time. Yes. Muah :*
