AROUND TROGIR

I know, I created this huge hype about my new blog design and the new blog overall that I somehow forgot the most important thing – to write a new blog post. A few days ago I came back from my summer vacation that I spent in Trogir, on the island of Čiovo. I had a cool and relaxing 10 day vacation which I spent taking a fair amount of photos that even the landlord noticed the clicking noise coming from our balcony. I just tweeted about loosing my ability to categorize, after I finally confronted such an amount of photos. So, with that in mind (the categorizing part), I’m gonna show you some snaps I took around Trogir only. I mean, if I don’t do it in sections it could easily result with an epic photo overload.

Nothing changed since my last visit to Trogir. Tourists are still all over the place. You can’t just walk around while looking other than in front of you. Otherwise, you will bump into ones camera, or step on a dog. I mean, I am a tourist, too. I like to say I’m a tourist in my own country. Don’t get me wrong, I love my country is visited so well but, like I said in my last Trogir post, the town should be experienced at least as late as May or early as September. That is, if you want to take your time and not worry about knocking over someone’s child, in all that tourist rush.

This time, I wanted to point my camera mostly up, as you can tell. Also, details were a non stop camera magnet, as usual. But, there were a couple of moments when the streets were empty even though, I must admit, those weren’t the streets in the strict town’s center. So, I did manage to pull out some no-people street photos.

Trogir is one of the most beautiful towns in Dalmatia, it is not too big and not too small. Its old town in on the UNSECO list, the airport is near, Split is near. What more could you ask for? This has been my 3rd time visiting and I have a feeling I’ll come back again, someday, with someone. God bless.
