I figured I’d post another batch (and last) of photos from my vacation in Dalmatia. Wanted to this while it’s still summer even though it would be a suiting post for the cold, winter days. Let’s say, in December. And, it will be a mass upload post portraying various moments, scenes and balcony views.
The upper four photos were taken on the south side of the island of Čiovo. They were taken on our last day and I feel sorry for not having the time to explore the area more. As you can see, the beach is more of the rocky kind and I don’t advise walking around barefoot. I mean, you could but, it is not the most comfortable for just kicking it back and laying in the sun all day. Because of the fact it is not a popular beach, the sea is crystal clear and such a pleasure to swim in.
The one thing I enjoy, almost to the same extent as the sea, is the flora in Dalmatia. Olive trees, oleanders, lavender bushes around every corner. Not just that, you can see all kinds of dreamy wild flowers, tall grass and succulents. Actually, you can spot succulents in the wild and in pots. I mean, we have them here, too, growing wild. But, there is a whole another level of its growth. Mega succulents, I dare to say.
You already are aware of the beautiful balcony view we had. Seriously, some of the sunsets were just breathtaking. The one other thing I also find pretty, was the color of the sea during dusk time. It’s that type of color you just wanna live in. That crystal mint green, turquoise transparent color. When sun sets, it a whole another color story. Also, the magnificent were the sun rays coming from behind this hill above Trogir.
I must admit, personally, I’m finding this (last) post about Dalmatia, the best. I don’t know, maybe because there is no more. But, some of the photos here are my favorite out of the entire Dalmatia batch. I wish to go back, there is a lot more of Dalmatia to see. I’ve just started. Well, God willing, until next year. See you, Mediterranean. God bless.
