This post just had to be written, sooner or later. If you run a photo blog, you know what I’m talking about. Autumn is a season providing us the mega epic inspiration. Especially if you live in a picturesque location. Now, I don’t live exactly in a such place so, for this photos, I basically had to finally leave my front yard. The liquidambar ones were taken at the entrance of our town’s cemetery (yes, I know). The corn field is behind my grandma’s house.
For the last few days we have been having a constant cold, rain and wind. If you know me, you won’t be surprised reading I adore that kind of autumn, too. But, from time to time, I let myself enjoy the sunshine as well. I admit, autumn weather is pretty in every possible condition. When it’s gloomy, your nostalgia kicks in (a positive one, one that moves you and makes you curl up in bed followed by a jazz session from your speakers). When it’s sunny, all the true colors of the fall appear. Liquidambar tree, in my opinion, gives the prettiest autumnal pink ever. That is why I document it with my camera every year.
This autumn is still ongoing but I already miss it in advance. It’s ridiculous, I know. Soon, all the trees will end up bare and all we will have, to reminisce the autumn, are these type of photos. Still, December sun is yet to come, Christmas time. It’s gonna be good! God bless.
