Mountains, mountains, all about the mountains. I don’t know what triggered my astonishment with this particular Mother Nature’s feature, all I know is that I wanna document each and every rocky elevation on my way. The Alps are the closest hard core mountain range to where I live but, I never seem to travel as close to them to actually witness its majestic glory.

Last week I travelled to Germany for a quick vacation and the route led straight through the Alps (Austria/Germany). Almost every photo in this post was taken out of the running bus and I feel grateful to be able to do that. I mean, it wasn’t in my power to make the bus stop at every photo opportunity I saw. Would be neat, though.

While traveling along this scenic highway, I felt like a little kid with my eyes wide open not believing such beauty really existed. The entire area is filled with green pastures, foothills with alpine cabins scattered all around. It is my wish to book a legit, two week long vacation somewhere in Austria, Italy, France or  Switzerland. I mean, wherever the Alps made home. I think that would create another problem – which season to choose.

Like I said, I only witnessed this out of a running bus and still fell in love. Imagine what lays behind the sounds of the busy highway. Or the western Alps, I bet it’s amazing. Climbing the actual highest peaks is a pipe dream for me, I don’t think I would dare. Photographing out of a plane is another story, I’m up for it. Until such happens, I’ll continue to be happy with the thought that at least a portion of my dream came true. I love Europe! God bless.

I love seeing your photos as much as hearing your stories, they are always amazing! It seems like the crisis is going over, right? At least I hope so, really :) Finally you find ways back to us!
