Landshut is a bavarian town 30 minute train ride away from Munich. Like I said, in one of my past Instagram posts, it’s a picturesque Disney town. Beautiful town centre is straight out of an animated movie. Last week, I spent a few days there.

The town is perfect for laid back vacation; has everything you could possibly need and yet, there’s no hustle and bustle to overly interrupt your slow paced stroll around the town. It has multiple little bridges over the river Isar with restaurants and small cafes along the both banks. I could see myself, if anywhere, living there. River, gorgeous town center and the castle overlooking the entire town is what Bavaria is all about. Haha, this feels like a tourist guide add.  Trust me, I making it up all by myself (highly noticeable).

A small off topic. I’ve noticed I’ve been shooting a lot of vertical photos, lately. Feels strange since, from day one, I’ve been all about the horizontal flip. I guess I’ve learned to take chances. As well as shooting at + f/1.4. Now, my focal lenght is around at f/2.8. Go figure. However, coffee shots are still  the usual f/1.4 goodness. Haha. Anyways, hope you like today’s entry. God bless and don’t forget to feed the ducks at the end of this post.

feeding the ducks ;) love that you’re shooting more vertical! Been doing it myself for the past few months, works better for portraits somehow.

PS – hope it works this time!

Lovely shots! It reminds me quite a bit of the altstad of Cologne where I was last month. I mean, it’s the same country of course so that kinda makes sense hehe.
I always love the colourful houses, kinda sad my country never picked up on that :(

And I’m the same with the vertical shots lately, it’s weird but also refreshing!

My country is terrible with architecture. A mix of neo-classicism and communism. And now they’re adding a bit of western modernist spin to it. Not a fan.

      Thank you! :)

What a lovely place! Vertical photos are gorgeous, they add height and air to portraits and pictures of building.

Exactly! I don’t know why I was avoiding vertical frames.

      Thanks!
