A couple of extra photos from Prague. Just some random still life photos of our hostel/s’ backyard where we hanged out. I love how the backyard is on couple of levels and each of it has a table and chairs/benches. And of course a glimpse of the kitchen and computer room with four world time clocks. I chose Tokyo time, because, you know, Japan ♥
A compilation of my touristy photos from Prague. We walked a lot and walked everywhere. The full gear start in the first days of our stay in Prague gradually decreased to the point of not wanting to do anymore of the sightseeing, at least some of us. I think 6 days in Prague is more than enough. I know people usually go there over the long weekends.
I promised to put up a post about my trip to Prague, a week later. What a slow blogger I am. For the most part of the last Saturday (May 21st) I was nervous, not about the trip but the 10 min drive to the train station, only that is a whole another romance story that deserves to have a post of its own. So, I’ll just skip it, for now.
Anywho, our trip kicked off Saturday 9PM. We were supposed to arrive at Prague 9AM but, actually, arrived around 6AM. Let’s just say that our bus driver was battling with time, I suppose. When we got there we kinda had a tiny problem with finding our hostel but nothing a good map couldn’t solve. So after some time of walking up-hill we finally found out hostel (Hostel One). If you’re on a quest of finding a hostel in Prague, I totally recommend this one.
Our check in was at 3PM so we had A LOT OF TIME to kill since we arrived at 7AM there. We left our stuff in the hostel since they kindly offered us the option so we wouldn’t drag our bags with us. So, we hit the center, had a coffee at some expensive Irish Bar located at the main square. Yeah, we never went there again. Way too expensive. But I liked the name of the English Pub right next to – George & Dragon. How cool is that?
We couldn’t wait to get into the rooms to take a shower and a bit of rest even though we did opened a few beers (that is the only cheap thing, there) that night. Oh, and one more thing, if you are ever in Prague PLEASE be careful while exchanging your money (since they still have Czech Koruna as a currency there even though they are in EU). Couple of my friends ended up loosing their money because they exchanged it at small rates. So, be careful and watch closely what the currency rates are and for what they apply (small letters no one cares to read – YOU SHOULD!)
Ok, I’ve been wanting something from M.A.C. for years now. Since we don’t have a M.A.C. store in our country (nor any store of my liking) I got super determined after finding out there was a store in Prague. I just knew I was gonna spend half of my trip money there. So….I did. Now, you’re probably thinking how I got a bunch of stuff but, let me tell you, M.A.C. products in Europe are super expensive. For example, an eyeshadow (as a refill) in USA is $11 and in Prague 13 EUROS! Europe is super expensive. So, having that in mind I got to buy only a couple of items. I had to buy the 217 blending brush. That was my #1 priority. I couldn’t really decide what eye shadow to purchase. But, I decided to go with the All That Glitters and Blackberry. And I got an empty quad palette. Anywho, when I saw the store for the first time my heart almost stopped ’cause I was getting crazy to finally try out their stuff. Walking into the store felt as if I didn’t belong there, lol. Oh, and I promise to put a blog post about my trip to Prague that was completely A-MAZING!
Feels like it was yesterday that we came up with the idea of going to Prague. Now that I know I’m going – I don’t feel like it. That is always with me. When it comes to the point I have to go somewhere, the laziness begins. But, the moment I get on the bus, with my friends – all the not wanting to go will just disappear. I hope. And I hope the weather will serve us good. Of course, I’ll be bringing my camera with me. 6 days in Prague must result with at least 5 decent photos. Yeah, so much of my confidence. Right now, I just wanna go there, buy stuff at MAC store and come home. See how much of a simple person I am? Well, I’ll just enjoy my Friday, tomorrow. But, I refuse to pack my things for the trip until Saturday afternoon. I’m leaving Saturday evening. So, yeah …
