Brace Yourself, it’s Snowing in Croatia

If you live in the continental Croatia, you probably think it’s our birth right to have a major snowfall at least once per winter. This season, December and January were such let downs with spring like weather and no reasons to complain. Croatians like to complain. Especially when there’s too much snow (or none at all).
Living in a pretty flat area where there’s no dynamic landscape, snow makes everything look better. Boring fields and outskirts become this infinite white…

Mountain Highway | Pastels & Mist

First of all, I’m wishing you all a very merry Christmas. Even though the official holiday was a few days ago, Christmas time extends until Epiphany. I agree with G.K. Chesterton – we should talk about Christmas after Christmas, too. Not just November and December. Anyway, I’m getting off course, here.
I’m continuing with the Mountain Highway series. Considering I did take gazillion photos during that bus ride, it would be illogical of me not to publish them. Honestly, this could be my…

Mountain Highway | Wintertime Hills of Austria

Hello! Long time, no see. After dropping the going photography full time bomb, I disappeared from the blog. It wasn’t my intention, at all. Even though I haven’t made any significant progress job wise, I’ve been going to workshops about self-employment. I thought, I could put it into good use, when the job kicks off. So, that’s where I am right now.
Apart from pursuing my new career, I travelled a bit. I spent almost a week in Germany and just…

There are no hills to add dynamic or anything. I mean, there are hills but I have to plan a whole trip in advance and gather a group of friends to come with me. That area is a bit distant and I wouldn’t feel comfortable going alone.
You can’t even imagine how hard…

Changes. Metaphorically and literally. Autumn is in full bloom, everyone’s favourite foliage is all around us. Days are getting shorter and more hazy (much to my delight). Somehow, I’ve always known – autumn is the season for changes. I’ve written that down (and online) so many times. I was right as I’m about to make the biggest change of my life. But, let’s start from the beginning.
I’ve never been a brave enough person, one who would knock down the walls…

Autumn Morning Mood

It’s here. If you’re like me and autumn is your season of choice, it only gets better from now on. I don’t mind waking up at 6.30 AM and go out (in my pajamas) to shoot the hazy, morning field behind my house. I can’t remember how many times have I already shared pictures of this particular field, on my blog. But, since I don’t live in the Alps (yet!), I gotta work with what I have. It would be…
