Back to Blogging | Healthy Bowl of Linguine

People! Let’s pretend my last blog post wasn’t in May of last year, shall we? What matters is that I’m back—blogging and taking photos. To be honest, the last few years were super hard for me. It wasn’t any major issue or something like that, but I found myself stuck in life. I felt like time was ticking, yet I was standing still. Everything I tried, just fell through. For example, my photography business—it just didn’t go anywhere, so…

The Awakening of Miss Prim | A Self-Reflection

I’ve always liked well written, Jane Austen inspired, christian romance novels. For some reason, most chick lit titles would leave me feeling empty and I’d forget all about it the next day. Maybe because they play on your senses and not rationality. It doesn’t make me question and reflect on my own virtues or there lack of. Maybe it’s just me, but that’s how I feel.
Then, there are novels such as The Awakening of Miss…

Southern Dalmatia | Mljet & Hodilje

It’s been a while since I visited the very southern parts of my country. I already blogged about our Afternoon in Dubrovnik so I will try to keep it out of the way, this time.  Actually, it was my first time visiting any of the big croatian islands. In this case Mljet. Somehow, I’ve always known – autumn is the season for changes. I’ve written that down (and online) so many times. I was right as I’m about to make the biggest change of my life. But, let’s start from the beginning.
I’ve never been a brave enough person, one who would knock down the walls…

Stuck

January. I haven’t written or posted anything since January. Does anyone still read this? I would love to say I was caught up with work but, I can’t. I just didn’t take as much photos. For the last two years I’ve been in this grey zone stage of my life; not (noticeably) progressing and always in the same place. Yes, I did have some three day ventures (like my trip to Rome) but, when…

The new spring

Even though this was taken last Spring, I found it suiting for what I’m about to write. I have finally purchased my very own Photoshop CS6 licence (lifetime, not Creative Cloud). So what, you probably think. But, I’ve been waiting to make this step for 6 years as I didn’t want to use illegal copy. Basically, that’s not how I roll when it comes to the movies, editing programs and so on.  I’m so happy as I can finally…
