Wintertide

I thought I’d do a little break from the photos I took in Rome but, don’t worry, will post them in the following days. Today we had a little family gathering and as it started to snow pretty heavily, my cousin and I went out for a walk. Actually, solely for the photos but, you get the jist. It was blizzardy but worth it.

With all the Rome photos and being stuck in the house processing,…

When I was a second shooter

I think this is the longest break from blogging ever recorded on my site. So, where have I been? To tell you the truth, life and work got in the way. Whenever I set my goal to writing a new blog post, I got distracted by whatever reason. I think today is the day to break the silence. I haven’t been photographing much but, I do have some photos for you.
Last September, I worked as a second shooter on…

Simplicity

I’m not sure if I could tell when was the last time I did an update, here. Well, at least not without looking at the lastest post. Today, I spent an entire day with my family, it was a Sunday as it’s supposed to be. Family, friends and no work. It was a beautiful, sunny (yet cold) Sunday. Some of you might remember my sister (first cousin) who I was taking photos of all the time, like, 5-9 years…

Personally, black and white photography has more soul and beautiful atmosphere. My logic is slightly off, I suppose. That is why I wanted to shoot and post something different, today. Something other than my default, vivid images. I shot with a built-in camera black & white option that I…

STORY MAKER

I’ve already written a word or two about me shooting a friend of mine, Amir. We went for a bohemistic, three day old beard, typewriter, author type of theme.  He likes to write so he wanted to portray the essence of things and hobbies that make him happy. FYI, we are not trying to endorse smoking. Rather, cigarette smoke has an artistic flavour to it.
Ivana stepped in, for a couple of shots. You know, to water down same old…

SIMPLE PORTRAITS

My friend Ivana and I really don’t need much reason to go out shooting. What I’ve learned during my photography years is that you don’t have to live in a fancy city or to have a beautiful nature we see on the calendars, at your doorstep. You can be happy to shoot anywhere, no matter what or who your subject is. We had a little discussion yesterday, while relaxing on my balcony, about me shooting always the same thing…
