Yeah, it’s the same old blue old-timer Mercedes wrapped in the busy metropolis of Zagreb. But now, photos were captured in time with my own camera. My dear ol’, dear ol’ Nikon D80. God willing, a D800 soon. Can you imagine I got sun burned, in April?! My nose, forehead and cheeks are totally red. And now it feels plastic. April, you are no cool.
Last month I spent yet another day with my friend Mirko, who is also a fellow photograph. And yet, once again, he let me shoot with this Canon 5D Mk II with a Canon 85mm 1.2 lens attached to it. Let me tell you, this lens is a dream to shoot with. A dream! I know all of this photos appeared already on my Flickr stream but I don’t think I had better suiting photos for our 7 on 7 project. That day I was on the roll with my photo subjects, from nature to car and street photos. It just clicked. So, I am bringing some extra photos to the table, today. God willing, I will have days such as that one in March to blog about in our next 7 on 7 post, next month. April, be kind. Don’t forget to continue this story by checking out Julie‘s stream! God bless!
Last Tuesday I spent almost 5 hours in company of a good friend of mine, Mirko. So, again this time we were going around downtown. And, once again he let me use his Canon 5D MkII + 50mm 1.2 lens. So yeah, I present you my take on Zagreb at night. God bless :)
Okay, I know I’ve always been a Nikon enthusiast and that will never change. Even when the times comes, to buy a new camera – I will always choose Nikon. But, yesterday I spent half of a day with my friend Mirko who shoots with a Canon. And he kindly offered me to try shooting with his 5D MkII + 50mm 1.2 lens attached to it. At first I was just overwhelmed and actually found myself in the state of being totally photography-clumsy. As if I was scared to take a shot. Haha. But, we hit the streets and I had the privilege to shoot with his camera all the way though. While doing that my D80 was safely hidden in my bag. *guilty*
