Good thing I travelled a lot this summer because finding several photos from one day usually drives me batty. This time, I thought it was going to be a piece of cake but, come to think of, I did post a lot about my vacation in Dalmatia and choosing 7 photos that still haven’t been on this blog was actually not that easy. On top of it all, I did a bit of spring cleaning through my Dalmatia archive some time ago that made the choosing part a bit harder, also. At the same time, I didn’t want the photos to be totally random. There is still some text bellow but don’t forget to check Mark out when you finish touring around this post.
The restaurant in Brela where we had our dinner that day. It was so cool. Just right next to the beach with this lights going all around. I just couldn’t not to take any photos of it. The scene was just inviting.
This is a beach called Dugi Rat (not to be mistaken with the place named Dugi Rat that is situated a bit northern on the coast of South Dalmatia) and it is one of the most famous beaches around. I must say I was very impressed by it since I don’t get to see a lot of sandy beaches along our coast. We have more of a rocky and pebble kinds, which are still beautiful, too. But there is something special about sand, we all have to admit it. You can, like, leave footprints in it. Hehe.
What I like most about sunset photography is the contrast between this colourful warm gradient that goes from blue to vivid orange red and the dark, tall mountains creating this distinct line separating the Earth from the Heavens. I could watch such sunsets for days (if there was a sunset that lasted for that amount of time, haha. Oh, Ines). God bless =)
