Vienna | Downtown & Jonas Reindl

It took me two years from this letter to finally come and visit my friend Marijana in Vienna. Actually, we travelled together there and back again but, you get the jist.  It was a 5 day long stay filled with photography, laughter, shopping and lifestyling in general. As I really took a lot of photos, I am gonna post them all in digests.

As we arrived in Vienna around 8pm (Monday the 17th), we headed straight to her flat for some dinner and called it a night. The next day, I forced Marijana to be a tourist in her own city and go on a photowalk with me. But first, as true lifestylers, we had to sit down for a cup of coffee in a very hip and trendy cafe Jonas Reindl. Not only did we drink coffee but (most importantly) took photos of it, as well. The place has a very cool vibe and the people working there are so nice.

Then, high on caffeine, we went on our photowalk where we almost deliberately avoided crowded streets and strolled around the more quiet ones. It’s interesting how tourists always keep on the same routes when there are so many secluded and wonderful streets not too far from the main square. Vienna is indeed best seen on foot. Especially if you’re a photographer and want to document every little bit on your way. Later on, we went to the Prater park but, that is a whole another post. God bless.
